Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Adlessio — browser extension, API and web panels — provided by Lexlam Electronics of Brazil, CNPJ [[CNPJ]], with offices at [[FULL ADDRESS]].

By creating an account, installing the extension or using any part of the service, you confirm you have read, understood and fully accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any provision, do not use the service.

If you use Adlessio on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

Definitions

• Service — the Adlessio extension, the API at api.adlessio.com, the customer panel and the staff panel.
• Account — the individual registration identified by email and password.
• Licence — authorisation to use a plan, tied to an account.
• Device — each installation of the extension in a browser, identified by a locally generated code.
• Free plan — the free tier with essential features.
• Pro plan — the paid tier with the full feature set.
• Trial period — the initial 30 days granted to every new installation of the extension, before and independently of any Account existing.

What the service does

Adlessio filters advertising content, overlays, trackers and video ads while you browse, applying blocklists and, on the Pro plan, a heuristic agent that spots ad patterns not yet catalogued.

Filtering happens locally, in your browser. The service does not modify or proxy site content on our servers.

What the service does not promise

• Blocking 100% of ads. Web advertising changes constantly and no blocker is complete.
• Identical behaviour on every site. Some sites detect blockers and restrict access — that is the site's decision, not Adlessio's.
• Compatibility with browser versions no longer supported by their vendors.

Account and eligibility

• You must be 18 or older with full legal capacity.
• Each person may hold one account. Duplicate accounts created to obtain extra trial periods may be closed.
• Registration data must be truthful and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.

Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Trial period

Every new installation of the extension receives 30 free days, counted from your acceptance of these Terms inside the extension itself, with no sign-up and no credit card required.

• The trial is once per installation and is not renewed by reinstalling the extension: the installation identifier is preserved and the count continues where it left off.
• The days are counted and verified on our servers, not on your device.
• If you create an Account during the trial, the Account inherits the remaining time from the installation rather than restarting it.
• After the trial, an identified account can continue using Free basic features.
• Additional grants may be made by support on a case-by-case basis.

Plans, pricing and renewal

Access lasts 365 days from payment confirmation. Continuing Pro requires a new purchase at the price displayed then. A full refund or chargeback removes the corresponding Pro access.

Price changes

We may change prices. Active subscriptions keep the contracted price until the end of the term. Changes affecting renewals are announced 30 days in advance, and you may cancel before they take effect.

Applicable taxes may be added according to your jurisdiction.

Licence to use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Adlessio under the terms of your plan.

What is not allowed

• Reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling the software, except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
• Reselling, sublicensing, renting or distributing the service to third parties.
• Sharing credentials or circumventing the device limit.
• Using the service for unlawful or fraudulent activity, or activity infringing third-party rights.
• Attempting unauthorised access to the API, infrastructure or other accounts.
• Running load testing, scanning or intrusion attempts without our written authorisation.
• Removing intellectual property notices from the software.

Device limit

Each licence authorises a set number of simultaneous devices. The identifier is generated by the extension itself and contains no personal data.

• When the limit is reached, new installations are refused with a clear message.
• You free a slot by removing a device in the customer panel — the effect is immediate.
• Reinstalling the extension in the same browser may generate a new identifier; just remove the old one.

Intellectual property

Adlessio, its brand, logo, source code, interface and documentation are owned by Lexlam Electronics of Brazil and protected by Brazilian Laws 9,610/1998 and 9,279/1996 and by international treaties.

These Terms transfer no intellectual property rights to you beyond the licence to use described above.

Third-party components embedded in the software remain subject to their respective licences, listed in the technical documentation.

Blocklists and third-party content

Adlessio uses blocklists maintained by the community and by us. These lists are updated periodically and may occasionally block a legitimate element of a site (a false positive) or let an ad through.

You can report either case through the panel or at [email protected]. We are not responsible for the content of sites you visit, nor for decisions those sites take in response to blocking.

Availability and support

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible.

• Free plan support: by email, within 5 business days.
• Pro plan support: priority, within 2 business days.
• Single channel: [email protected] or the customer panel.

The extension keeps blocking ads even if the API is unavailable: lists already downloaded continue to apply locally.

Warranties and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or of freedom from errors.

Our total liability, on any cause, is limited to the amount you actually paid in the 12 months preceding the event.

We are not liable for lost profits, loss of data, indirect or consequential damages.

Suspension and termination

By you

You may close your account at any time in the customer panel. Closing deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

By us

We may suspend or terminate access, with prior notice whenever possible, in case of:

1. breach of these Terms;
2. fraudulent use, including improper payment chargebacks;
3. activity compromising the security or stability of the service;
4. legal requirement or court order.

If we suspend an account in error, we restore access and extend the licence for the period of unavailability.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes are announced by email and in the panel 30 days in advance. Continued use after they take effect means acceptance. If you disagree, close the account beforehand — and if a paid term is running, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The courts of [[JURISDICTION]], [[STATE]], are elected, waiving any other. Consumers may alternatively sue in the courts of their own domicile, under art. 101, I of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code.

Consumers resident in the European Union retain the rights and the forum granted by the law of their country of residence.
